Driver
Location: Pierceton | Warsaw, Indiana
The Granite Shop is a leading solid and hard surface countertop supplier in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. A Driver at the Pierceton operations facility must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a DOT physical. Forklift experience is required to pull and organize inventory parts for transfer to other locations for installation. This role must work independently while being able to assist the team when needed.
Operations
- Driving to move operations materials and products between The Granite Shop locations and customer sites as needed.
- Forklift experience to move, inventory, and load stone slabs, products, and materials are required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Passing DOT physical is required.
Quality Assurance
- Heeding prevailing building and safety regulations
- Ensure safety of self and team members when driving and moving materials.
- Take care when handling and storing products and materials to not damage or ruin material.
Personal Development
- Attends required and desired training sessions.
- Maintains current knowledge of product information, service information, and industry trends.
- Studies product specifications to improve knowledge of product performance and application as required.
